Alumni members had the opportunity to meet academic and administrative staff from the University and its Colleges and hear presentations from the Vice-Chancellor who spoke of developments within the University of London International Programmes and the University, including the upcoming 150th anniversary of the University of London International Programmes in 2008. Anne Cronin, Alumni Relations Manager also spoke about the alumni association and the many advancements that have been made since the launch of the association back in February 2006.
The guests were also addressed by an alumni member, Ivy Lee Win Sin. Ivy spoke of her experiences of studying and how her degree has lead her into her two exciting positions of television presenter of 'Wanita Hari' and Press Secretary to the Minister of Health.
After the formalities were completed, alumni moved around meeting and networking with one another. The networking carried on well into the evening with many alumni choosing to continue the momentum after the completion of the event with their new friends in restaurants nearby.
