Programme Regulations

The regulations are applicable to all students registered on the programme and provide the rules governing your registration and will answer many of your questions about:

  • syllabuses
  • assessment criteria
  • rules of progression.

Programme structure and module descriptors

For guidance about the modules you will study see the Laws programme structure tab. The programme structure contains a summary of each module and the progression route you can follow. Each module also has a descriptor [PDF] which you can download giving you full details of overview, module aim and outlines the key learning outcomes.

How to guides - Student guide and programme handbook

An essential starting point for any student, the suite of guides cover a range of areas such as key dates for year 1 and advice on purchasing textbooks. You can access the guides through the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) or on Student guide and Programme handbooks section of our website.
