It was a glorious evening full of accomplishments as the high achievers of Roots Ivy International/ Roots DHA1 Flagship campus Islamabad got together to celebrate the outstanding success stories and achievements of the graduating class of 2015. Now in its 27th year, Roots Ivy International/Roots DHA1 Flagship campus Islamabad celebrated the high achievers award ceremony and convocation with great honour and pride together with all the students, proud parents, guests of honour, members of the diplomatic community, social dignitaries of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, corporate society, heads of NGOs, educationists, media and members of Rotary International.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian M. Nawaz Sharif, sent a congratulatory note to Khadija Mushtaq (TI), CEO of Roots Ivy International Pakistan, extending his congratulations to Roots Ivy International/ Roots, DHA-1 flagship campus, for nurturing brilliance among the youth of Pakistan.

The honourable chief guests included the Minister of State for Education, Trainings and Standards in Higher Education, Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman, HEC Chairman, Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, Federal Minister for Commerce, Khuram Dastgir Khan, Minister of State and Benazir Income Support Programme Chairperson, Marvi Memon, the British High Commissioner, Mr Patrick Moody, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Argentina, Mr Rodolfo J. Martin-Saravia.

Roots Ivy High AchieversThe class of 2015 dedicated their achievements to the children martyred in the national tragedy that took place at APS Peshawar on 16 December 2014. The ceremony was a validation of quality teaching, educational innovation, and a comprehensive philosophy of a progressive, global vision. The proud parents were overjoyed to celebrate the outstanding success and achievements of the graduating students who had worked hard throughout the year to achieve this enormous success.

University of London graduates who attained outstanding results in their BSc and LLB were awarded shields and certificates by Mr Patrick Moody. Graduates Zara Kiani and Fatima Ahmed, were awarded medals for their outstanding achievements.

The class of 2015 have broken all previous records and secured an astounding amount of scholarships amounting to Rs. 2 billion! No school or college in Pakistan is even close to what Roots DHA-1/Ivy has accomplished in just one year.”

Khadija Mushtaq dedicated the evening to all teachers, talented staff members, alumni and the supportive parent community who have all played a critical role in charting the future of these young vibrant individuals and all “partners in education” who have significantly contributed to the achievements of the year.
