London has no less than six universities in the top 100 of the world’s most prestigious universities – more than any other city in the world – according to the Times Higher Education World Reputation Rankings 2014.

Five of these are Colleges of the University of London: LSE (24th), UCL (25th), King’s College London (43rd), London Business School (93rd)  and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (94th). The sixth London-based university in the top 100 is Imperial College London (13th).

These constituent Colleges of the University of London provide academic direction for a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered through the University of London International Programmes: the suite of LSE–led BSc undergraduate degrees in Economics, Management, Finance and the Social Sciences; both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Law (LSE, King’s, UCL); plus specialist postgraduate programmes in health (LSHTM).

A spin-off of the annual Times Higher Education World University Rankings, the Times Higher Education World Reputation Rankings 2014 is based on the largest, invitation-only academic opinion survey.
