Did you know that, as a registered International Programmes student, you are entitled to one free visit to view the collections held in Senate House Library? And International Programmes students who wish to join the library may do so at the following rates:

  • Annual membership £130.72
  • Six-month membership £83.74
  • Day membership £6.28
  • Seven-day carnet £31.40 (seven visits over a year-long period)

The Senate House Library periodicals collection is the most extensive of any single university library in the UK.

English Studies
The collection is drawn from British, Irish and post-Colonial literatures and, with over 500,000 volumes, is the largest English literatures collection on open-access in the UK.

Historic Collections
Rare materials from Shakespeare's First Folio to Sir Terry Pratchett's manuscripts make up the historic collections.
