The BSc Computing and Information Systems and BSc Creative Computing are managed academically by the Department of Computing at Goldsmiths. All its full-time academic staff are active researchers and leading experts in their field. They have a particular research focus on computing applied to the arts and creative industries including music, film, TV, visual arts, games and animation.
The Information Security Group at Royal Holloway, which provides academic leadership to the MSc Information Security has been recognised for its world class research in the field of cyber security by UK intelligence agencies GCHQ.
The Group is at the cutting edge of research into the design and evaluation of smart cards, electronic commerce, security management, mobile telecommunications security, and the integration of security techniques into specific applications.
