Books and Library Services

Introduction

If you are registered for one of our undergraduate programmes (or for one of our postgraduate programmes where we do not give you all of your study materials), you will be required to provide your own text books and periodicals. These will be the real focus of your studies.

Your study materials will tell you which books you will need access to for each of the subjects you are studying - some of these you will have to buy (because they are core texts that you will need to continually refer to) and some you will need to refer to in a library.

If you are in touch with other International Programmes students - either through the Student-to-Student Network or, for instance, through a study group - they might also be able to help you find other sources of books.

Note: the Online Library provides a range of full-text, multidisciplinary databases; journal articles, book reviews and reports can be found on the databases.
