Information about the Advance Timetables

Entry Forms

Entry Forms for examinations in 2012 are now available to download.

The advance timetables are issued subject to confirmation by the final timetable. The advance dates are intended to give students advance notice of written examinations in 2009.

Although it is hoped that no changes will be necessary, candidates should check again the dates of all their papers when they receive their copy of the final timetable / admission notice. This will be issued to each student approximately 10 days prior to the commencement of the examination period which is published in the current course regulations. Students must adhere to the dates and times shown on the final timetable/admission notice.

Please note that there will be no flexibility in altering the dates of any of the papers scheduled unless there is a clash in a candidate's examination dates.

Please note also that it is very common for students to have three or even four examinations on consecutive days. Last minute revision is seldom very fruitful and students should aim to have completed almost all of their revision well in advance of the start of the main examination period in their subject.

Examination dates for subjects currently not listed will be issued on the web as soon as they become available. In some subjects, June examination dates will not become available until the end of April in the year of the examination. Students should therefore not contact the University until after Easter in the year of the examination.

L.L.M (Old Regs) examinations will be held over a five-week period, starting August 2009. The timetable for individual subjects will be published towards the end of June.

General Information: Please ensure that your examination entry form is returned to the University by the deadline given in the current Regulations and Student Handbooks. Please consult the current 'Examinations Information' booklet for undergraduate students or 'Procedures booklet: Postgraduate Programmes' for information on overseas examinations authorities in your country and on how to go about registering for University of London examinations.

If, at any time, you should require further information, we will be happy to advise you. Please contact the relevant Examinations Office listed in the current Regulations.
