Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) has a rich and diverse heritage. Founded in 1887, it is comprised of four historic institutions: Queen Mary College, Westfield College, St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical College, and The London Hospital Medical School.
QMUL has an outstanding international reputation and was ranked ninth in the UK in the latest Research Excellence Framework. This research feeds directly into the college’s teaching, which means that its courses are created by leading researchers in the field.
Queen Mary and the International Programmes
Queen Mary is part of a consortium of colleges that provides academic direction for our undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes.
It is among four colleges (with King’s LSE, and UCL) to be ranked in the top 50 worldwide for law (QS World Rankings 2015).
The diversity of the student community at QMUL makes for a stimulating and cosmopolitan atmosphere. The College also ranks in the UK top ten universities for graduate starting salaries, according to The Telegraph.
