Our decision
Although we may be able to start processing your application without all of the required documentary
evidence, we won’t be able to give you the final decision on your eligibility until we’ve
received all the correct evidence of your qualifications. Once we have this we’ll contact
you with one of the following decisions:
- You’re qualified. We’ll either send
you a letter (the 'Offer letter') offering you registration for your chosen course along with
the registration pack, or an initial offer letter advising you that you’ve
been accepted and that the offer letter and registration pack will follow in due course.
- It appears that you’re qualified and we’re provisionally accepting
you. However, in order for your application to progress you’ll need to submit further information
and/or documentary evidence, as specified in our letter, confirming the qualifications on your
application form.
- We require more information and/or documentary evidence from you, which
we’ll specify, before we can make a decision on your eligibility. We may, at this stage,
inform you that we’ll then refer your application to our Special Admissions Panel (note:
for undergraduate courses only).
- Your application doesn't automatically satisfy the entrance requirements for
your chosen courses. It will now be considered by our Special Admissions Panel (note: for undergraduate
courses only).
- We’re currently unable to accept you onto your chosen course. Where
possible, we’ll either offer you registration onto an alternative programme
(eg. a Diploma or Access route rather than a full degree) or, for applicants to undergraduate
courses, suggest what further study you need to undertake in order to become eligible. We’ll
give you details about how to submit this additional evidence to us, and for how
long this advice is valid. Postgraduate applicants might be offered a Postgraduate Diploma, Postgraduate Certificate or Short course.
