ESRC recognition for Online MRes

Offered through the renowned Institute of Education, the Online MRes has secured recognition from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).

The Online MRes provides students with the knowledge, skills and confidence to interpret, evaluate and carry out research in any education-related setting. Acting as a valuable preparation for doctoral studies, students can study for a full Masters degree, a Postgraduate Diploma/Certificate, or take a single module for continuing professional development.

As the UK's leading research funding and training agency addressing economic and social concerns, the ESRC aims to provide high quality research on issues of importance to business, the public sector and government. Recognising that well-trained research students are the seedbed for the social science researchers of the future, the ESRC's Training and Development Board supports postgraduate students and meets the training needs of researchers throughout their career.
