The course has been developed specifically for those teaching history and for those in supporting roles, e.g. school advisers, educational consultants and administrators. The intercultural approach can be adapted to any national or international context of history education, and we have had students from all five continents.
You will learn from your fellow students and personal tutor, and gain the confidence to put your new ideas into practice. You will need access to a school or educational setting in order to undertake some of the tasks from the course and evaluate practice.
This course is available via distance learning, allowing you to study flexibly for this course whilst balancing work and personal commitments. Working from your own home and/or place of work, you will access the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and will be guided through your study materials by your tutor. You will take part in discussions and activities within the OLE with your tutor and other students. Find out more about study support for this course.
