Assessment

Assessment of compulsory modules is by unseen written examinations. Advanced modules are assessed by a combination of unseen written examinations and assignments. The Integrating assignment (MSc only) should be taken in the final year.

Please note: if you fail an examination at the first entry you will be allowed one further attempt. Examinations are held once a year in June. These are normally held in a student's country of residence, using the existing system of overseas examination authorities that the University of London utilises for all its External students (please see our Exams Section for further information). Examinations for students in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland are normally held in London.
