7 Marks

7.1

Courses are marked according to the following scale:

7.2

In order to successfully pass a course, students must achieve an average mark of at least 30% for the coursework and a mark of at least 30% for the written paper and the overall weighted average for the course must be at least 35%.

7.3

A student passing an examination of either course at the second or third attempt will receive a final mark which is the arithmetic mean of the mark actually achieved on that occasion and the minimum pass mark of 35%.
