- Masters in Research in Educational and Social Research (MRes)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Educational and Social Research
- Postgraduate Certificate in Educational and Social Research
Successful completion of the Postgraduate Certificate enables students to progress to the Postgraduate Diploma and similarly onto the MRes. There is also the provision for students to register for individual modules of the degree on a stand-alone basis.
Level of the programmes
The FHEQ forms part of the academic infrastructure of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) in England and Wales.
The awards are placed at the following Levels of the Framework for Higher Education (FHEQ):
- MRes - Masters degree, Level 7
- Postgraduate Diploma - Level 7
- Postgraduate Certificate - Level 7

Accreditation by professional or statutory body
Completion of the programme will confer eligibility to apply for Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) ESRC and3 studentship funding, subject to residence requirements being met.
