13. Greater clarification is given to Annex D, 5.10. (6th July 2011)
Greater clarification is given to Annex D, 5.10 regarding the circumstances under which a 'pass' degree through the Standard Route may be awarded. In 5.10 the words "and the above rule concerning two fails under 5.7 is applied" have been amended to read "and the above rules concerning 11/2 or 2 fails under 5.7 and 5.8 are applied". In full, the regulation now reads:
5.10. If a student's marks indicate a Third Class Classification, and the above rules concerning 11/2 or 2 fails under 5.7 and 5.8 are applied, then a Pass Classification will be awarded, provided the Board of Examiners is satisfied that all other regulations have been fulfilled.
