The University of London International Programmes delivers degree programmes developed by the Colleges of the University of London, which have an international reputation for the quality of their teaching and research. Today there are over 900 students studying in Sri Lanka for a University of London qualification. The majority of these are studying for the LLB, courses developed by the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) or one of our highly valued postgraduate programmes.
You can browse our full list of undergraduate programmes (for holders of UK 'A' levels) or use our 'Find a Course' facility. If you don't hold UK 'A' levels, or equivalent qualifications, we offer diploma programmes taught at Royal institute of Colombo that lead directly on to our degrees. Please see the information on institutions below.
Our programmes provide an opportunity to obtain a highly-valued degree which opens doors in your career. Our alumni gain prestigious jobs in banks, multinational companies and professional services firms and go onto further study at prestigious universities worldwide.
In Sri Lanka the majority of our students attend classes at local teaching institutions to study at undergraduate level. We have created a system of recognition for institutions which operate within our quality assurance framework to help you in your choice of institution.

The following qualifications from Sri Lanka meet our general entrance requirements. (Please note: these requirements were revised in June 2011 so publications printed before this time, such as the Information Leaflet on the right of this page, will carry the old entrance requirements.)
Many of our programmes also have their own additional entrance requirements, which can be found on our programme pages. We require all applicants to demonstrate a certain level of competence in English.
We hold events in Sri Lanka each year. If you are interested in attending, please complete the form below and you will be added to our subscription list.
