The University of London International Programmes was established for people who – either due to financial, career or family commitments – could not, or did not wish to, come to London to study full time on campus.
All of the courses offered through the University of London International Programmes are developed by the University's constituent Colleges. For example, the suite of undergraduate courses in the fields of economics, management, finance and the social sciences are developed by the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), whilst the animal-related postgraduate courses are developed by the Royal Veterinary College. Students therefore benefit from the academic rigour and leading-edge research undertaken by the Colleges. To find out more, please read Our Colleges.
Students are registered with the University of London and are awarded a University of London degree on successful completion of their studies. Degrees awarded to International Programmes students are of an identical standard to those awarded to students who study face to face at one of the University of London's Colleges.
The University of London International Programmes maintains robust and effective quality assurance mechanisms. Academics who teach and assess College-based students develop syllabuses, prepare study materials, and are responsible for the assessment of International Programmes students, so you can be confident with the standard of your degree.
We have a long track record of working with prestigious independent teaching institutions across the world. We officially recognise institutions that offer study support to International Programmes students within our quality assurance framework. To find out more, please visit How can I get local support?
