The University of London International Programmes delivers degree programmes developed by the Colleges of the University of London, which have an international reputation for the quality of their teaching and research. Today, we have over 3,000 students studying in Trinidad and Tobago for a range of qualifications, including economics, law (LLB and LLM), computing, geography, management and information systems.

While some of our students in Trinidad and Tobago study via distance learning, many choose to receive tuition support at local teaching institutions. Financial Assistance

If you live in Trinidad and Tobago, you can apply for financial assistance through the Government Assistance for Tuition Expenses Programme (GATE) [external link, opens in new window] to cover the cost of tuition at local institutions registered with the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago.

Accreditation in Trinidad and Tobago

The University of London International Programmes is delighted that the Accreditation Council of Trinidad & Tobago has announced that it is recognising the University of London as an awarding institution for a period of seven years as at 08 September 2009.

Graduation

The first graduation ceremony took place in Trinidad & Tobago on 3 April 2011 organised by the University of London International Programmes. Professor George Maxwell Richards, President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, presided over the event. Professor Jenny Hamilton, director of the University of London Undergraduate Laws Programme, and professor Jonathan Kydd, Dean of the University of London International Programmes, congratulated the 200 graduates who attended.
